We build the language before we build the page.
§ Manifesto What we actually do
The part nobody reads. The part that matters.
A brand is not a logo. A brand is the posture a company holds when nobody is looking. We draw that posture out. Through interviews, through arguments, through long afternoons with a pinboard, and we render it as a system: type, colour, rhythm, voice, image.
We build design systems that are small enough to remember and large enough to actually cover the product. Tokens, components, documentation, voice guidelines, photography direction. The goal is a system your next designer or next engineer can inherit without a six-week tour.
We believe in restraint. Two good typefaces instead of five, one accent colour instead of seven, a grid that holds instead of a grid that suggests. We believe a brand should be recognisable from across the street, in greyscale, at six point. Most brands fail that test. We build ours to pass it.
And when the brand is right, the page almost writes itself. That is the tell.
